The Motor City Madmen could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Ben Dalton into a win. Instead, the Long Beach Sea Otters prevailed, 3-2. Dalton threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Yuzu Nembutsu earned save number 8 this season. The win gives Long Beach a season record of 28-22.
