Sacramento College took on Wichita College in front of a lively crowd.

The Sacramento College River Bandits torpedoed the Wichita College Whalers at Sacramento College Grounds. The final score was 5-2, Sacramento College. Ernesto Chávez went 2-for-4 for the winning team. Sacramento College reliever Pedro Gómez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ed Wright shouldered the loss.

Sacramento College took a 4-2 lead on Chávez's 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Ed Wright in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Sacramento College to the win.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Chávez.

The loss drops Wichita College to 3-5.
