The Tempe Coyotes defeated the Naples Blowfish, 6-5. Doing his part was center fielder Lawrence Christensen, who was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The 7th-place Coyotes lifted their record to 78-62.
In the bottom of the 5th, Tempe took the lead on a 3-run home run by Andrew Rucker. At the time, the Coyotes were trailing 4-3, but Rucker's hit with two outs against Naples pitcher Miguel Angel Escobar put them in front, 6-4.
"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Rucker. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
