Lee Selected SL2's Best Player Friday, May 28th , 2106 Bill Lee of the Denver HS Aqua Sox had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2106. The 18-year-old first baseman put up a .425 average and a .511 on-base percentage, piling up 65 hits, 10 doubles, 1 triple, 14 home runs, 45 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He received 30 first place votes out of a possible 32. Jayson Sears of the Tulsa HS Jungle Cats finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ralph Shelton of the Phoenix HS Salukis finished third with 1 first place vote.
