Drake: Big Hit in the College One Monday, April 6th , 2093 Gerald Drake is respected by most UMBC Retrievers fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the College One Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .429 average (9-for-21) with 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the year Drake has hit .282 with 14 home runs, 29 RBIs and scored 22 runs. |
