Indians Solve Blue Jays, 6-2
|
It was a fun time at Progressive Field, where the Toronto Blue Jays and Cleveland Indians tangled.
The Cleveland Indians topped the Toronto Blue Jays by the score of 6-2, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Derek Fisher. Fisher was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Indians. The Indians now have a mark of 41-64.
Fisher contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Cleveland in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Fisher took a fastball from Joan Gregorio and stroked the home run to right. His 20th home run of the season allowed the Indians to leap in front, 2-1.
"I had some good swings out there," said Fisher.
