Astros Need Extra Frames to Get Past Blue Jays
|
The Houston Astros handed the Toronto Blue Jays a loss at Minute Maid Park. The final score was 6-5. Chris Kendall made the highlight reel for Houston. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 3. He also added 2 bases on balls. Robby Fierros, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. The win puts Houston at 20-11.
Kendall sent the crowd into a frenzy when he belted a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th. The clutch hit put his team in the win column.
"The most important thing is that we won," Kendall said.
