Saranac Lake Nerve Tested in 6-5 Win
New Hampshire got a decent performance from pitcher Jose Vizcaino, but it wasn't enough to beat the Saranac Lake Surge. Saranac Lake won the SilverCross Field contest, 6-5. Vizcaino threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. With the win, Saranac Lake raised its record to 51-36.

Wilson Espinosa was the walk-off hero for Saranac Lake. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Surge pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Hard work doesn't always translate into wins," said Espinosa philosophically. "Things fell right for us today."
