Rangers Resilient in 7-6 Win Over Ottawa
The 7-6 Texas win over Ottawa was due in large part to Alex Miranda. The Rangers left fielder was 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The first-place Rangers are now 41-22, the Capitals 30-31.

Miranda delivered in the clutch for Texas. In the bottom of the tenth, he took a 2-0 fastball from Ottawa pitcher Tommie Kiesler and parked it over the fence. The solo home run won it for Texas.

In postgame remarks, Miranda simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
