Jackals Go Down to Defeat, 4-2
|
New Jersey left fielder Alberto Rodriguez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-2, to Trois-Rivieres at Yogi Berra Stadium. Rodriguez went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place Aigles go to 41-34.
The Aigles grabbed the lead in the top of the third. With no one out, Ken Napolitano, who is tied for 9th in the FL in doubles with 20, hit a solo home run off Fernando Jimenez, putting Trois-Rivieres in front, 3-1. For Napolitano, it was his 5th home run of the season.
"The most important thing is that we won," Napolitano said.
