The Sussex County Miners picked up a win at Skylands Stadium, knocking off the Ottawa Titans, 5-4. On the mound for Sussex County was right-hander Hugo Corona, who played a pivotal role in the win. Sussex County is 4th in the Frontier League Can-Am Division with a record of 47-47.

Sussex County won the game because of players like Chad Martin. The 26-year-old catcher had a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh, putting his team up, 5-4.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Martin. "And not try to do too much."
