Fans who congregated at Clipper Magazine Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

Long Island rode a decent outing from starter Eric Self to victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers. The final score was 5-3. Joe Fugman snagged the win in relief. In 1.1 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 1-0 on the season. Mike Sievers earned the save for Long Island, his 25th of the year.

Long Island used a clutch hit from Jack Hoffman to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Ducks ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Self. "I like it."

The Ducks now have a record of 68-47 with the win over Lancaster.
