The Houston Astros defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-3, in American League action at Rogers Centre. Houston pitcher Tucker Weston had a standout performance. Houston now sits in first place in the American League West Division at 50-26.

Matthew Middleton drove in one run for Houston. With one out and the game tied in the top of the sixth inning, Middleton had a clutch at-bat. Facing Toronto hurler James Wrench, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Astros a 4-3 lead.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Middleton, "and go after the next one."
