New York Topples Washington, 9-3

New York relied on the bat of David Melchor to get the win. The catcher produced a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Boulders ahead, 4-0. For the game, Melchor had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We maximized our offense today," said New York skipper Will Craig. "That makes everyone's life easier."
