The Gary SouthShore RailCats topped the Milwaukee Milkmen, 5-3, in American Association action at Flames Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Gary SouthShore pitcher and Trenton, Michigan, native Keith Powell. Gary SouthShore's record now stands at 52-65, placing them 6th in the American Association North Division.

In the bottom of the sixth, Gary SouthShore pinch hitter Chris Lutjen put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 14th double of the year. Milwaukee pitcher Manny Morales served it up. Just like that, the RailCats were ahead, 4-3.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Powell told a Gary SouthShore Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
