Colorado Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in LDS
The Colorado Rockies moved to within one game of the League Championship Round today, downing the visiting Chicago Cubs at Coors Field by a score of 9-6. Rockies center fielder Chad White did some major damage. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win gives the Rockies a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional Series Round.

Marcos Garcia was vital part of the Colorado win. He went 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the third with two out, Garcia hit a bases-clearing double. It made the score 6-3, in favor of the Rockies.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Garcia.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Coors Field in Denver.
