In a tight contest at Werner Park, the Wichita Wind Surge edged the Omaha Storm Chasers by the score of 15-14 in 10 innings. Wichita catcher Bill Swick, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Wichita raised its record to 23-10 with the win.

Chad Kurtz drove in one run against the Storm Chasers. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he grounded out, driving in 1 run that put Wichita in front, 15-14.
