The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

Northwest Arkansas designated hitter Jose Caldera had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Caldera went 3 for 3 with 3 doubles and a walk, even as Frisco beat the Naturals, 5-4. The win belonged to Mike Nettleton in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Bravo Garcia took the loss for Northwest Arkansas. Jonathan Doyle recorded the save for Frisco, his 2nd of the season.

Frisco second baseman Shane Anderson had a nice game. In the bottom of the second inning with no one out, he belted a solo home run for the RoughRiders. It made the score 5-0, Frisco. For the game, Anderson was 2 for 5 with a home run.

"Nice win for us," said Anderson. "Now we'll go after the next one."

With the win, Frisco boosts its record to 6-5.
