Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old catcher Jake Faith, the Inland Empire 66ers stopped the Lake Elsinore Storm, 9-0, in 9 innings. The 66ers upped their record to 55-81.

With Inland Empire leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Faith hit a fastball from Danny Vasquez for a 2-run double. It was his 42nd double of the season and put the 66ers ahead, 4-0.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Faith.
