The Charlotte Stone Crabs bested the Florida Fire Frogs, 6-3, at CoolToday Park. Manny Chihuahua was one of the standouts. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The 5th-place Stone Crabs sport a record of 50-71.

Charlotte took a 2-0 lead on Chihuahua's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off George Sexton in the top of the sixth, propelled Charlotte to the win.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Chihuahua told the Charlotte Bulletin.
