|
The Essendon Knights racked up a win at Essendon Recreation Reserve, bumping off the Wests Tigers, 6-0. Bruno Hall, who started for Essendon, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, Essendon pushed its record to 30-23.
The Knights got a big hit from right fielder Tristan Starling. In the bottom of the sixth, Starling pounded a 3-run home run to left-center. His 21st home run of the season put the Knights ahead, 6-0.
