Demons Sneak By Sharks, 2-1
|
Starting pitcher Johnny Noble had a solid game. He was a big reason the Melbourne Demons throttled the Cronulla Sharks, 2-1. The win puts Melbourne at 24-38.
Luke Kelly was the walk-off hero for Melbourne. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Demons first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Kelly said.
