In a low-scoring tilt between the East Sydney Roosters and the Parramatta Giants, Randolph Clyde was the difference-maker. The East Sydney left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Les Barthorpe was credited with the save for East Sydney, his 7th of the season. The Giants, now 4-17, continue their slow start.
