A 4-RBI performance from Terry Heath, who finished 3rd in the WL in doubles with 47 in 2012, helped the Carlton Blues beat the St. Kilda Saints, 5-4. Hung-k'uei Liao, the winner, improved to 12-2. He held St. Kilda to 1 run on 2 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 12 strikeouts. The 9th-place Saints have dropped 4 straight games.
Heath contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Carlton get the win.
