Rabbitohs Lose to Bulldogs in Walk Off
The Canterbury Bulldogs picked up a win at Canterbury Grounds, knocking off the South Sydney Rabbitohs, 5-4. Starting pitcher Ray Beattie played a key role in the triumph. Canterbury reliever Erich Morrall was the winner. His record is now 3-3. Ben Pearn took the loss. Canterbury is now 44-57, while South Sydney is 43-58.

The Bulldogs procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Nick Stubbs. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said South Sydney manager Shaun Young.
