The St. Kilda Saints picked up a win at Albert Park Baseball Grounds, knocking off the South Melbourne Swans, 6-2. On the mound for St. Kilda was left-hander Todd Tronc, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the win, St. Kilda raised its record to 63-47.

Rickie Rowles, the top prospect , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rowles contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put St. Kilda up, 4-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Rowles.
