The Penrith Panthers called upon starter Dayle Lowen, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Canterbury Bulldogs, 3-0. At 58-59, the Panthers are currently 6th in the Waratah League.

Lowen made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 6-11.
