Dragons Roll to 8-2 Win Over Sharks
The St. George Dragons got a stellar performance from pitcher Chris Kirton, who handcuffed the Cronulla offense en route to a win, 8-2, at Endeavour Field. With the win over Cronulla, the Dragons improved to 56-62.

St. George used the bat of Darren Sabin to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Dragons ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Kirton. "Successful pitchers do it."
