Northam Slugs Saints to 6-3 Win
A good performance from third baseman Trent Northam helped the St. Kilda Saints defeat the Collingwood Magpies, 6-3. Northam hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Saints. Robbie Vian picked up the win, improving his season record to 9-8. He struck out 6 in 7 innings. Koby Darrington picked up the save, his 32nd.

Northam had a key at-bat for St. Kilda early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and gave St. Kilda an early 2-0 lead.

In postgame comments to the St. Kilda Today, Northam said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

With the win, the Saints improved to 68-50.
