The home crowd had a good time watching the East Sydney Roosters and St. George Dragons get after it.

St. George Dragons starter Alex Polanco turned in a top-notch performance against the East Sydney Roosters at Kogorah Oval. The result was a win for the Dragons, 5-1. St. George is 6th in the Waratah League with a record of 58-62.

In the bottom of the fourth, Polanco had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Ron Anderson that staked the Dragons to a 2-0 lead.

"It's a mindset," said Polanco. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
