With third baseman Asa Thatcher leading the charge, the Cronulla Sharks defeated the Wests Tigers, 9-6, at Endeavour Field. Thatcher, who is tied for 5th in the WL in runs scored with 79, belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Cronulla is now 69-53, while Wests is 58-64.

In the bottom of the sixth, Cronulla center fielder Nick Jeffcoate put his team on top. With two out and the bases loaded, he hit his 46th double of the year. Wests pitcher Matt Bracher served it up. Just like that, the Sharks were ahead, 5-4.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Random Task.
