Panthers Walk It Off for 62nd Win of Season
The Penrith Panthers faced a tough opponent in Parramatta pitcher Billie Kenny, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Penrith Park by a final score of 7-6. Kenny went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Penrith reliever Nathaniel Mashiter picked up the win to move to 6-1. Elvin Sadler suffered the loss. The Panthers are now 62-62, while the Giants fall to 44-80.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Penrith trailing 6-5, Carmen Sims jumped on a full count fastball from Elvin Sadler for a 2-run home run, sending the Panthers to a walk-off win.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Sims said, postgame.
