Manly-Warringah and Parramatta played a hard-fought contest.

The Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles went home winners at Paramatta Fields, thanks in large part to starter Shell Grogan. Grogan stifled the Parramatta Giants, enabling Manly-Warringah to grab the 3-1 win. With the victory, the Sea Eagles upped their record to 63-63.

Manly-Warringah used a clutch hit from Ray Richard to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Sea Eagles ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Shell -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Sea Eagles manager Matthew Streeter. "He was the key to us winning."
