The Wests Tigers picked up a win at Leichhardt Oval, knocking off the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, 5-3. On the mound for Wests was right-hander Steven Webster, who played a pivotal role in the win. Webster got the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed 7 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Webster allowed 3 runs. Win Cantrill earned the save, his 7th.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from first baseman Rapata Kaulo. For the game, Kaulo was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 15th double of the season gave Wests a 5-3 lead.
