Sabin goes 4-for-4 to Power Dragons Offense
|
The 6-0 St. George win over Canterbury was due largely to Darren Sabin. The Dragons right fielder went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Fredrick Dwennon picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1. He struck out 8 in 7.1 innings. The win puts St. George at 4-4.
An impactful at-bat came in the bottom of the fourth inning. With a runner on 1st, the batter, Kris Crowe, hit a 2-run home run. It made the score 2-0, St. George, and helped them go on to win.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Crowe told the St. George Herald.
