Fans at Narrabeen Oval got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season.

The Narrabeen Waves outplayed the Lane Cove Flames en route to a 8-6 win, but the standout was center fielder Todd Bryan. Bryan netted 5 hits in 5 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line.

"Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Flames manager said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too."

Todd Bryan singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Damien Sutherland in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
