Newtown-Collingwood Trade: King for Horder Monday, August 22nd, 1994 Newtown and Collingwood have agreed to a trade today. 33-year-old 1B Dominic King and 31-year-old RHP Ray Marfell will go to the Magpies. In exchange the Jets will receive 18-year-old minor league LHP David Calverley, 17-year-old minor league CF Clint Warton and 21-year-old minor league LHP Jamie Horder. In his career King has hit for a .327 average and totaled 1238 hits, 329 home runs and 902 RBIs. |
