Brandon Is VBL Swing King Friday, March 7th, 1997 Paul Brandon will look back at the 1996 season and smile proudly. The Carlton Blues right fielder rapped out 191 hits and put up a .389 average. That was good enough to take this year's batting honors in the Victorian Baseball League. The 26-year-old Brandon ended the regular season with 26 doubles, 4 triples, 44 home runs, while scoring 121 times and driving in 107 runs. |
