Blamey Wins SBL Prize, Named Best Hitter in June Friday, July 1st , 2022 Kevin Blamey put together a good June to earn the Suburban Baseball League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Fitzroy officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Lions first baseman posted a .450 batting average with 2 home runs, 21 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Posting a .349 batting average to date, Blamey has 8 home runs and 60 RBIs. |
