Potticary Rewarded with 2022 ADL Most Valuable Player Award
Sunday, September 18th , 2022
The manager of the Gawler Bumblebees said he thinks Rhett Potticary is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the shortstop's 2022 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Adelaide Development League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .318 batting average and a .409 on-base percentage this year. In 82 games he piled up 88 hits, 15 doubles, 5 triples, 11 home runs, 24 RBIs and 41 runs scored.

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 8. Michael Herrick of the Adelaide Crows finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ben McNamara of the South Adelaide Stags finished third.
