Swamp Foxes Clip Scorpions, 3-2, in R2 Contest
The Carolina Swamp Foxes got a strong game from starter Chris Molnar, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Swamp Foxes took the 3-2 win over the Las Vegas Scorpions in Game 5 of the Division Series in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Molnar. Molnar threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs in the win, which allowed the Swamp Foxes to narrow their deficit to 2-3 in the best-of-7 series.

Carolina got a knockout punch from Rory Fairbanks. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Chris showed what he's made of," said Carolina manager Michael Farris.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 15th , 2054 at Scorpions Stadium in Las Vegas.
