The Houston Astros finished things off in style.

Joey Mason, who finished 5th in the AL in wins with 17 last year, had a strong outing for the Houston Astros against the New York Yankees at Minute Maid Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The Astros saw their win-loss record go to 67-85. At the same time, the Yankees fell to 91-60.

The decisive blow was delivered by Zach Henry in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Carreras to win the game for Houston. The home crowd went nuts.

Mason said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
