Lambeth Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, April 21st , 2053 Nate Lambeth of the Hampton College Volcanoes has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 2 hits in today's 6-4 triumph over San Jose College at Rainiers Ballpark. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Lambeth said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Nate Lambeth walked in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 7th. Lambeth is batting .410 this year with 15 home runs, 40 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 183 at-bats. |
