Hawks Win Wildcard Series Friday, May 2nd , 2053 By a score of 7-6, the Houston College Hawks have sealed a victory in the Wildcard Series over the Santa Clarita College Fisher Cats. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said catcher Joe Scott of the Hawks, who was named the series MVP. "The Fisher Cats knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Houston College will come in the Division Series, after winning this series 3-1. The Houston College Hawks will play against the Detroit College Lugnuts in the next round. Detroit College won their series against the Omaha College Mohawks 3 games to 0. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
