Los Angeles College Moves on to League Championship Series Thursday, May 15th , 2053 In an exciting Division Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is MLB College fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Los Angeles College Blue Sox, who edged the Irving College Hot Rods 4-3 to advance to the League Championship Series. Los Angeles College won the final game by a 10-3 count to wrap up the series. Chris Sanders earned series MVP honors, by hitting .406 with a .424 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Los Angeles College Blue Sox will play against the Sacramento College Reds in the next round. Sacramento College won their series against the San Antonio College River Otters 4 games to 3. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
