Hitting Streak Still Alive for Barbee Monday, April 20th , 2054 Bobby Barbee of the Austin College Snake Eyes has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 2 hits in today's 15-8 triumph over Fontana College at Ballpark of Austin College. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Barbee said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Bobby Barbee struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Joey McBrien in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and walked in the 8th. Looking at his season stats, Barbee has compiled a .382 batting average and a .481 on-base percentage, while hitting 21 home runs and driving in 58 runs. |
