Walker Socks It to Zebras, Cracks 5 Hits Friday, May 23rd , 2053 No matter what the Columbus College Zebras threw at him, Pat Walker hit it. He easily handled Zebras pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Isotopes triumph, 24-12, at Isotopes Ballpark. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Walker's quip, Zebras skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Pat Walker singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jaime Goral in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 6th. Walker is hitting .412 in 2053 with 60 RBIs and 27 home runs. |
