Zebras Move on to World Series Sunday, May 25th , 2053 The Columbus College Zebras are on to the World Series, having knocked out the Brooklyn College Isotopes 4-2. The final blow came tonight at Zebras Stadium, where Columbus College sealed the League Championship Series with a 16-14 triumph. Danny Maxwell was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Maxwell hit .462 with a .600 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 15 runs. The Columbus College Zebras will play against the Jacksonville College Sundevils in the next round. Jacksonville College won their series against the Chicago College Cubs 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes. |
