Red-Hot Bat: Kinkaid Collects Cycle Wednesday, June 4th , 2053 Joe Kinkaid of the Columbus College Zebras helped his club in a big way, hitting for the cycle in their 24-3 win against the Jacksonville College Sundevils. The 4 hits, 3 RBI and 4 runs scored for Kinkaid led the way for the Zebras. "It was just a perfect day at the ballpark," Kinkaid said later. Joe Kinkaid tripled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Phil Holmes in the 4th, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this year, Kinkaid is batting .346 with 16 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
