Chapman Takes SL2 Pitcher of the Year Award Tuesday, June 17th , 2053 In 2053, the premier pitcher in the Conference 2 was Steve Chapman. The Indianapolis College starter is this year's recipient of the Pitcher of the Year Award. He went 3-3 in 12 starts with 85 strikeouts in 61.2 innings and an impressive 3.50 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Greg Hayes of the Chicago College Cubs finished second in voting, while T.J. Lockwood of the Indianapolis College Thrashers finished third.
